It might be because I'm jewish but I genuinely just don't like them. The only pork products I'll tolerate are bacon, maybe ham depending on the day, and pulled pork with cheesy nachos and ONLY in that specific configuration. There's just something about pork that I cannot stand. It makes me queasy.

fry up a half pound of bacon, fry a chicken breast in that, while the chicken breast is resting bring preferably tomato sauce to a warm rolling simmer, remove, dice the chicken and lay it over a bed of jasmine rice, top with some diced bacon and tomato sauce with a bit of fresh grated parm. that was my go-to meal and it was somebody elses mom who used to make it for me
