@stickers we tried permanent DST and guess what happened in winter? Way more deaths from early morning car accidents because it's too dark

We need more light in the morning not more at night and this also aligns better with our circadian rhythm

I work a real job and haven't woken up on a work day with light outside in years. Often I've had to drive hours in the morning in the dark. If you can't drive to work when it's dark you shouldn't have a driver's license. I have no pity for people who lack such a basic life skill, who want to push for terrible policy ideas because of vibes.

Wanting to come home when it's dark out is peak antisocial behavior. Like oh boy let's slave away all day and come home to absolutely nothing. No thanks. I do not know a single person in real life that enjoys coming home when it's dark out. It's far worse for the office jockeys than it is for tradie chuds like me.

If you're concerned about car crash statistics, assuming you're American then tell your congresscritter that over 40000 people die in car crashes every year in the US and we need public transit. It's not black or white.
