Been there, done that a billion times. If anything, it's better for them because when they knock off in the winter, there's a higher chance it'll still be dark when they need to fall asleep which makes all the difference in getting actual rest.

Idk why you can't understand that not everyone wants to come home when it's dark as fuck. That extra hour of daylight in the evening makes a ton of difference for people with actual lives outside of work.

I'm a huge XMPP stan. I'm very upset that xmpp.is has has such a horrendous service bump over the last 24 hours. It's affecting some users and not others, and their website is also down. Such a large service provider having service problems for this long is greatly disheartening, and this is not the first time this has happened. Some will say "just host it yourself" but that's not the point. It's a public trust thing. I understand that shit happens, but this happens far too often. I have had a hard time convincing people to use XMPP for various reasons, and events like this is a great example. I hope the admins can figure it out.
