Wanting to come home when it's dark out is peak antisocial behavior. Like oh boy let's slave away all day and come home to absolutely nothing. No thanks. I do not know a single person in real life that enjoys coming home when it's dark out. It's far worse for the office jockeys than it is for tradie chuds like me.

If you're concerned about car crash statistics, assuming you're American then tell your congresscritter that over 40000 people die in car crashes every year in the US and we need public transit. It's not black or white.

Actually I think it's far worse for people who work 3rd shift and basically are never awake during daylight hours but we don't see them bitching and complaining about it like you are

Not everyone has the privilege to have access to good job opportunities without serious commuting. No amount of organized labor will fix the problem of distance.

Been there, done that a billion times. If anything, it's better for them because when they knock off in the winter, there's a higher chance it'll still be dark when they need to fall asleep which makes all the difference in getting actual rest.

Idk why you can't understand that not everyone wants to come home when it's dark as fuck. That extra hour of daylight in the evening makes a ton of difference for people with actual lives outside of work.
