@monsterislandcolonizer @graf I had every Nintendo console up to the wii and when it came out I just didnt see the point

@DEERBLOOD @graf Imo it was the console for people whose parents couldn't or wouldn't buy them an Xbox or PlayStation

@mrsaturday @DEERBLOOD @graf I knew a guy who got a Wii and then The Force Unleashed on its release day, watched him play it for an hour and he turned it off because it obviously sucked and was a completely different game from the 360/PS3 version

Wii had some absolute gems that will never get re-released ever again.
@DEERBLOOD @monsterislandcolonizer @graf I had a couple of buddies who had Wiis. They were simple fun and good for when friends are visiting. It didn't replace real gaming, but it was good for goofing around, like Wii Bowling from the kitchen when you can't see the TV and throwing consecutive strikes.
I sometimes think about getting one because my boys would have fun with the driving games and whatnot, but for that price I could probably get a steering wheel and pedals for my PC and just throw them at BeamNG or something else I already have.
