Decent gaming laptops haven't been $600 since 2024, they're $800 for the cheapest one at Micro Center.

@sendpaws @Cocoa @mint I never liked ThinkPads, it was always like AirJordans, but for fat nerds. Looked up the prices at the retail and there are still decent laptops around Mac Neo price tag (~3000 PLN). Idk about prices in US, they may be not that comparable.

Don't know how much experience you have with Dell laptops, but many of them have a tendency to overheat. Also, this is an anecdotal experience, but after buying a refurb unit and a new BYD-manufactured battery for it (from Dell), the integrity had gone below 80% in a little over half a year. This was with responsible charging. If you're gonna splurge on a nicer XPS model, just get a Framework 13 or 16.

Yeah Dells are notorious for dogshit batteries. If you use them in a corporate setting (mostly plugged into some dock), the batteries completely die after a year.
