@TyggBiddies @eal they don't hate systemd. Worse, their lead dev, Benno Rice, lamented about wanting to implement a similar service. The lack of manpower and resolve prevent that.

The reason they lack developers is because their old devs did call quits over that CoC issue. The overall sentiment was that FreeBSD Foundation misallocates money on some stupid bullshit instead of paying developers for really needed features.
