@lain Ok this is actually true I used to work with a guy who LOVED McDonalds, like it was his whole thing. People at the stores knew him and would greet him by name when he walked in which is fucked for fast food joint. All morning at work he’d be hyped about McDs and talk about it.

and I’d be like Larry stop over eating, you always get sick every day and he’d be like yeah yeah not this time

but then he’d order a meal exactly like that, he’d be pounding big mac burgs, drinking a large milkshake in one side of his mouth while stuff chicken nuggets in the other side it was the grossest shit you’ve ever seen

then he’d crawl back in the yard barely able to move “ooh I’m sick I ate too much i can’t move help me jamie” fuck sakes then after work he’d waddle into the gym and just psycho work out so you’d be dead sure he would be fat as a house but actually he was ripped as hell with like zero body fat somehow

From a basic mother view of bodies we know parts stretch or contract based on daily use.. the stretching of everything from skin to tendons that give a gymnast the flexibility to bend into pretzels or inactive body with ligaments so tight they can't touch their toes.. tummies grow from babies who are full on a few ounces into adult size containers based on how much goes in so no doubt in my mind the stomach can be stretched over time to fit more with over eating than what subsistence diet has as maximum size.. this is often conflated to an issue of hunger that is influenced by additives in processed foods and genuine lack of nutrients both manifesting in mental reactions that junk food ads work hard to trigger with images that turn viewers into consumers.. fighting for fitness on all fronts!

@PamelaDrew I find it genuinely hard to watch television (the few times I visit people who do) with all the fast food ads. Maybe I'm more "triggered" by them these days but it feels like every second ad is for some slop.
I wouldn't be surprised if you could reduce "food noise" more efficiently than GLP1s by just cutting cable.

@lain
That's a fairly small amount of McDonalds for an average-sized person, I'd say? The main reason fast-food cooks So fast and "lasts" so short is that there isn't much density to it. I wouldn't WANT to eat a double helping of nuggets in that timeframe, but I could easily.
