@georgia purelymail was brilliant last i used them tho they do charge a fee but i remember it being like $20 a year or something
@krankheit I'll do it!
@georgia i mean, personally id look into them a bit first, but it is a really very nice web service, pity i lost my login to the other one i assume its not hooked up to that credit card anymore or i hope so at least. come to think of it wait maybe i can get back in
@georgia my family and I use mailbox dot org, which is quite good
@kaia ill check that out too
@scathach oh its cheap for normal users. is it AWS cloud or nah?
@georgia Apparently it's hosted on ovh cloud in France
@scathach better than aws!
@georgia Yeah one of my favorite things about Migadu is that their pricing is usage-based so it's way cheaper than most of the competitors for normal people
@georgia I’ve heard bad things about self hosting an email server with a lot of other servers gray-listing anything not mainstream
@Lars ive heard that too...
@georgia fastmail is nice if you wanns shill $60 per year
@newt thats too much for me tbh
@georgia i use disroot and tuta
@angeliclayer I used to have tutanota before german laws got shitty
@georgia yea i wish self hosting was a bit easier but im just not into it even if i have a domain. im slowly moving to disroot although im also open to suggestion
@angeliclayer ooooh disroot seems really good
