8Just as centralized systems are becoming unreliable, it's a good thing whole house reverse osmosis is now fairly affordable.
Exactly...And the fact that all of our plumbing is ran in plastic and those bacteria-like critters can grow freely ππ¬
so , i was right ... i told those fkrs i dont want pex ...
Im with you....copper will be run in my next home
Bacteria is particulate so it gets stuck in the filter.
The only thing you can't easily filter is dissolved ions such as chlorine and fluoride. But an RO will (to around 80-90%)
i will look into that also .. currently , i use a brita filter .. its just a pitcher though.. i did quit using it normally.. the water goes directly into a glass pitcher (the plastic one got cracked)
Same here, but I more or less trust the water here...
the water in SE Oklahoma should be way better
