@zonk Man, that's an American truck alright. It's fuck huge massive yet and the back thingy doesn't look any bigger than any other cars like it
@coolboymew @zonk f650 is used for commercial purposes only. It is very hard for a person to buy one since dealers wont sell them. Theyre fleet vehicles. Box trucks, towing, dump trucks. You will never see just a guy driving them.
@creamqueen @coolboymew @zonk the idiots who buy f650 as their main ''truck'' dont get them from regular dealers, they got them from custom shops which main bsns is selling those useless f650 to people with more money than neurons, iirc the f650 got famous because shaq had one with 6 or 8 doors and more dumb shit, most people dont need anything about 250, fuck having a 150 is already an overkill for most of its owners
I have nothing against trucks, in fact I have one but srsly most of the time you dont really need them a big truck, something like a mavaerick or a hilux or frontier is more than enough

@creamqueen @coolboymew @tsugumi it's a cultural thing in my mind. in europe you get the smallest possible car for your use case, maximizing utility and economy (and often times you simply don't need one, so you realize that and don't buy one). over here, people are weirdly attached to their cars, and buy them to express their... personalities. people won't dress to impress but will absolutely go into debt to pimp out their baby crusher 9000

@creamqueen @coolboymew @tsugumi the american consumer is definitely spoiled for choice, all the coolest foreign cars get imported anyways (unless you're a chinese ev enjoyer, but even then if you're rich enough you can just pay the crazy stamp duties)
