I don't think it has even been three months since people were calling you names and telling you to fuck off and fork it if you didn't like rust in the linux kernel and now they're crying it's impossible to fork the linux kernel to avoid you know what contributions

I’m just using deslopped Shitblows 11 at this point, up and until I can find hardware to fully run NomadBSD (and to do so without an update killing the entire thing ala Artix).

Should specify MODERN hardware, I have no doubt decade or older hardware would do fine.

@ryu windows is a joke, windows xp used to run on like 96MB of RAM with almost full api compatibility to today

@sun windows is awesome. Unfortunately, it's harder to make it usable than to just install whatever Linux you feel like.

But AtlasOS is a thing and it's honestly quite nice.

@subnetter @sun I've never used Windows for anything except some software in a VM. But it's a rather well designed OS under the hood.

@newt @sun to a degree and at a cost, I could concur. However, I find anything after Windows 7 frankly unusable. Even Windows 10 wasn't all that bad but with 11 I'm fighting for my life at work because everything is so convoluted and bloated.
