@jeru @bajax @f0x @p There's an annoying bug in Pleroma where if you disable access to local activities from the API, it also blocks access to them for fedi servers resulting in broken threads/missing posts.

@bajax @f0x @p @jeru I don't know if it was originally intended, but MastoAPI configuration affecting federation is a bug to me. If someone wants to nuke federation the proper way, they can enable signed fetch enforcement and require everyone to sign their requests.

@bajax I say unsweet because its faster and I've noticed in restaurants if you say unsweetened or non-sweetened they misshear it and fuck up your order and give you sugar saturated sweet tea which you were trying to avoid. It's really just retarded that it is sweetened by default in the first place.

@ArmadilloRancher @icst thing is the kind of low quality tea they drink does taste nasty on its own (not much better with sugar mind you). it has almost none of the nice flavors of real tea

@ArmadilloRancher @bajax it's like black coffee. You hate it if you have a sugar addition but if you break the addiction stuff like soda is what becomes actually disgusting. That's why I don't drink soda anymore it's so sweet it makes me want vomit.

My uncle always complains when he visits that our regular iced tea plus sugar is also not the same 🤔

@icst @ArmadilloRancher yeah I started making my own and by adding syrup only until it was drinkable I slowly trained myself to use less than half the usual amount. it honestly tastes so much better when the falvor isn't obliterated by sweetness

The only time I drink unsweet tea is at big family gatherings, after it's been a few hours and the sweet tea is all gone and the only thing left is that pitcher of iced dirt water.
