most ppl here are simply wrong and my patience wears thin. prevention is better than cure. as they enter adolescence, lack of empathy is clearly discernible. watch them closely for a few years so that several people can be absolutely certain about the diagnosis.
psychopaths are obvious and must disappear at 10-12 years. quick dispatch is necessary because of danger to smaller children.
general narcs/antisocial/creepy should disappear at 14-16 years. before they get too big/strong. their parents getting older and less likely to make a replacement child.
pre-crime is a dangerous concept. Specifically because a lot of “symptoms“ of antisocial personality disorders are explained away with other causes, especially at a young age with changing hormones. Caning offenders seems to work great, because it hurts so bad you can even do a shorter jail sentence and have very low recidivism with average people. At least in Singapore.
No stable legal system uses "pre-crime". It's occasionally tried in Asian shithole dictatorships, but local officials invariably use it to frame their political adversaries, because Corruption Is An Actual Thing You Can't Handwave Away.
It's already bad enough that you have government officials settling personal scores using the legal system as a hammer. Imagine what happens when you get rid of the requirement that there be some kind of convincing evidence that a crime has occurred. They'll just go nuts and chase down whoever they want.

nation states are only 300 years old and they are dying more often then "reproduced" (via colonialism); there will be collective violence but I doubt in 200 years it looks like a British/french-law democracy for the majority of the world
There several post-state actors already with isis and the cartels, and the commies gifted every 3rd world nation ak's; you will never again conquer these places with 12 British men with muskets looking at some caveman-like spearmen.

maybe nation states are relatively young in concept, but i sure don't remember reading abotu any periods of anarchy taht weren't swiftly ended by neighbors invading and carving up said area in most of history, but when a libertarian says state, i'm sure they mean any kind of centralized authority that would constitute a 'government' be it a local lord a king a mayor or president.
The Nation-State is indeed relatively new, but what's new is the idea of a people bound together by blood and soil. Kingdoms and republics have existed for ~essentially ever.
Traditional Kingdoms are the prototypical Nation-States.

One thing is Jeremy Kauffman and Travis Corcoran are both software engineers, so they intuitively get complexity.

"Marches" were areas around an empire where they are less populated, but generally more capable of violence, and unable to be taxed. You may take an army and kill those who stand up every once in a while, but your losing resources if they dont turn into tax payers.
While these are technically not part of our system, thats only skin deep, somilia runs on their blood fueds, the cartels are not paying taxes to america.
If you look at kowloon it popped up where the British empire found a power it could not simply take over and people disinterested in pay taxes to either china or Britain found themselves in a very very small "march".

Im essentially predicting that the unofficial marches will exponentially grow; i.e. iran and somilia-like governments are likely to be large chunks of africa and the middle east if america has a minor political crisis and they pull the aircraft carriers home for any reason.
Russia and china are both very large and this communism-nation-state; if globalism/un falls apart, they will likely go in a different direction then america. They dont want to be democractic so maybe they revert to empires or do something new.
