There has been a ‘surge in construction’ at an underground nuclear site in Iran known as Pickaxe Mountain – CNN

Western intelligence agencies believe that Iran is in the process of turning the facility into an undeclared uranium enrichment site, and may already have begun the process of installing centrifuges.

The U.S. military currently does not possess any known bunker buster capable of penentrating the facility, which is located up to 600 meters deep underneath pure granite.

The Pentagon reportedly ordered a highly secretive task force in February to accelerate the development of a new prototype weapon that might be able to penetrate the site.
@cjd @Snidely_Whiplash @Bush

The Québecois were historically subordinated within much of Canada's political and economic order → the Quiet Revolution created a modern Quebec state and a much more assertive Quebec nationalism → Quebec increasingly exercised provincial powers and negotiated opt-outs from federal programs → Ottawa simultaneously adopted bilingualism and other accommodations in an attempt to keep Quebec within Canada (something they should have done from the very beginning of the founding of Canada to be fair).

And there is another irony in his “chokehold” description. From a sovereigntist Quebec perspective, the complaint has often been almost the reverse: Quebec sends taxation authority to Ottawa and then has to bargain to get money and jurisdiction back from Ottawa with conditions attached. Federalists and sovereigntists disagree radically about the implications, but neither serious interpretation really resembles “Canada gives Quebec infinite welfare.”
@Bush No lie, and you might not appreciate this from me but I don't mind this... I do NOT think he is the friend of Québec mind you. I just don't mind him increasing the antagonism. Anything that can help jump start a separatist movement is ok by me. I do not want Québec to join the USA or any weird alternative projects. I just want my people to have their own sovereign home (as sovereign as any modern state is, even vassals).
Around 10 minutes long, the original was almost 500 megabytes. I had to compress the shit out of this one to fit it here:

Yemen’s Armed Forces have released a 10-minute compilation of targeting Saudi-backed troops, vehicles, and tanks in Marib and along the Western coast

All of these operations were carried out by munitions dropped from quadcopter drones. The Yemenis are surprisingly very accurate.
A new jet-powered version of the BM-35 loitering munition, carrying a 10 kg warhead and capable of flying more than 200 km.

With a top speed of over 350 km/h, the new BM-35 is too fast for many of Ukraine’s current interceptor drones.
@cjd @Kalogerosstilitis2RevengeoftheJunta I'm not a libertarian. I'm a socialist. I am not into privatizing health, education, military, or even certain resources. Does it mean public sectors can't do wrong or be corrupt? No, of course not. However I think certain things shouldn't be be given to vultures. So it is very possible we just might not agree on this. I say that while realizing the many pitfalls that can exist in public systems. One example include the brain-drain that exists in Canada for doctors. These things would be solved by more authoritarian means but capitalists are kind of adverse to that unless its private capital dictating the authority.
