in the 90s my wife worked handling insurance at a doctor's office
back then the incestuous relationship between doctors, BIG PHARMA, and BIG INSURANCE was already rampant
now it's reached levels that shouldn't even be possible

Thursday morning #headlines recap

Nvidia's 10-Q discloses a $105bn credit backstop for OpenAI's SoftBank-built Ohio campus. Nvidia covers land, power and the empty building if OpenAI can't pay; OpenAI signs a 20-year lease and can only run Nvidia chips. The financial circle-jerk continues.

IRGC: Hormuz stays closed until the US pays $300bn. Conditions also include release of frozen assets, lifting the naval blockade and oil embargo, and ending US military operations on all fronts. Five confirmed transits Tuesday against 130+/day pre-war. Trumps claim of 22 doesn’t square with other sources, but even if true it’s still a paltry 16% of pre-war levels. At least one vessel has been struck for 3 consecutive days.

Rubio has told counterparts the US is not expected to initiate new strikes "for the time being". Last US strikes were 30 July. You can’t fire missiles you don’t have.

Qatar's LNG exports are down 96% six months into the war. Japan is now planning to fund pipelines that bypass the strait entirely.

Kremlin concludes peace negotiations are a dead end and is preparing to escalate. Ratcliffe reportedly warned Putin of operations capable of blocking Russia's southern ports and offered a Donbas compromise; Putin's counter was a threat to strike Ukraine "three times harder”. Russia also refused the request to pressure Iran on Hormuz. There are some conflicting reports on whether Radcliffe actually met directly with Putin, but regardless it’s yet another Trump regime humiliation.

Overnight strike of ~22-26 missiles across Kyiv, Odesa Oblast, Kremenchuk, Kryvyi Rih and Zaporizhzhia. Hits confirmed on the Kremenchuk oil refinery with cluster-warhead Iskanders and the Lelyaki 110kV substation. Russia fired 9 cheap modified S-400s at Kyiv and drew 9 PAC-3 interceptors from a package delivered this week, without spending a single Iskander. A larger Iskander/Zircon attack is expected in days, against depleted stocks.

US Army awarded up to $2.2bn to five companies to build and operate microreactor nuclear plants on five bases. They’ll never get built due to corruption and incompetence, and if they do somehow get built they’ll be constantly offline for the same reasons.

France's elites are publicly debating cancelling the national debt at 117.6% of GDP. I’m no finbro, but my 2 takes: first, once some Western nation does this the dominoes will fall and others will follow; and, second, if any western nation canceled their debt, they’d be back in the same hole within 5 years. Canceling the debt only treats the symptom, not the disease.

The top court in China recently highlighted the first judicial ruling establishing the binding nature of the Anti-Foreign Sanctions Law, which observers said could provide a legal precedent and guide companies facing frequent overseas sanctions as geopolitical tensions continue. TLDR if a company does business with China and then refuses to deliver goods or services because of “muh US sanctions” they’ll be penalized severely.

Glacier collapse on the Tibet-Nepal border: casualty counts diverge sharply across sources, from hundreds to thousands. A 2,000-foot chunk of ice fell ~4,000 feet into the valley. Global warming cultists will be masturbating furiously over this headline.

One of AC’s commenters offers some insight about THE GOYBEAM injuries.

I hate to be the one to tell your readers this, but if you go to a physician and tell them you think you’re a Havana Syndrome victim, the average physician is going to write you a prescription for a psychotropic drug and give you a referral to a psychiatrist. I’ve worked in psych and many other healthcare settings. I met people over the years who were being beamed. They always got written off as being nuts. Be careful who you express your suspicions to. Make sure the physician is sympathetic to targeted individuals. The only thing worse than being beamed is having what we at the hospital call a psych jacket. It will follow you everywhere you go when you seek healthcare. I have seen people with real physical illnesses not treated for curable illnesses because they were rerouted through psych. Sometimes your best protection is to play dumb about the side effects of the beaming in front of physicians. Let them bring it up. Sorry, but this is the state of the practice of medicine in the US. Most physicians out there are little more than Big Pharma whores.

hoe_math comments on San Diego’s new anti-semitic speech ordinance: “It is not normal for an American city to create policy against criticizing foreign countries or their leaders. If anybody doesn't get it yet that the jews have fucked with our country and destroyed it on purpose, it should be pretty hard to misunderstand this one.” He’s speedrunning cancelation on all social media platforms…

There were reports of two measles deaths, however now we are finding one individual died with measles, however there are no deaths from Measles.

Ted Cruz quote-posts a twitter post by a user with a display name of “Ted Cruz’s Tiny Dick”. I doubt ol’ Ted is actually writing his posts, just as likely it was some social media intern that did it for the lulz.

Spanish police fire rubber bullets at Spaniards protesting illegal invasion, but leave brown savages untouched. Sooner or later their gonna have to [redact] some leaders.

Trump admin paused all visa appointments worldwide. It’s not like we’ve got so much good news that we can afford to ignore a positive headline when it comes along.

People on H-1B and other visas were told their final green card interview had to happen in their home country. Many booked flights, left jobs and families, and showed up ready. Some bleeding heart liberal faggot (but I repeat myself) was lamenting this, but I’m putting it in the good news category. Any time a pajeet leaves this country it is a net win.

Try your best to get out and touch some grass today frens…

yep
I switched to the highest deductible plan possible and still get raped on the monthly insurance payment confiscated from my check
I have honestly thought about opting out and taking my chances...
