7What's the controversy?
But she only got into the series in 2019 with BotW (after it had already blown up and received GOTY awards and whatnot). Not that you can't be a fan after such and such date but for someone who posts about the series constantly, you'd think she'd at least play the bulk of the games. 7 years is more than enough time to play every game lmao but she didn't even play OoT until a few months ago from what I understand.
Also she's anti-white and possibly jewish. Just a few weeks ago she was stirring up fights over OoT's Gerudo being "orientalist".
Then there's this gross troon who apparently created the Zelda wiki (the Fandom site, not Zelda Dungeon which is far better) who ALSO didn't beat Majora's Mask.
BotW ruined Zelda forever.
Botw didnt just ruin Zelda it ruined every Nintendo franchise
I haven't played it yet and probably never will. Not out of spite but just because I'm not going to blow hundreds of dollars on a console for one game. I also never cared for the motion control gimmicks.
Great music, great art style, great environment design, over awesome vibe, terrible combat, terrible enemy variety, zero dungeons
Itd be an incredible game if there was actually anything to do besides climb all the over the place just to find materials you dont actually need
when was the last time you used a hinox toenail? to make "elixers"? why would you need those? I never made an elixer once lol
the game ecosystem really is an inch deep because you never get anything concrete as a reward for playing, not even a story. that's why I think the games thrive on clip farming. everybody posts their ridiculous inventions in TotK and people get mad when you point out they don't have any use in the actual game. saw a clip where a dude killed a hinox with a giant wrecking ball and laughed when he skipped out on collecting any of the shit he dropped. Because it's all WORTHLESS LMAO
This reminds me of the divide between old Resident Evil fans (survival horror) and new Resident Evil (over the shoulder shoot'em up)

32I've knocked out 8 of them so far, and in the process of having to look up things, I've never come across evidence of the divide, only people referencing it.
Probably because you're not on twitter
I was gonna say ive only ever seen people who want more survival horror but im also not on twitter
My only objection to the argument is that that it always seems to boil down to either "the controls absolutely need to be shit" and "I like treating enemies like early 2000s Black Friday shoppers."
Having played all the classic REs except 0, the only time in them where you cannot simply shoot every single enemy in front of you dead is in the first thirty minutes of RE1 where you are BRIEFLY knowledge checked out of ammo. REmake might be a little bit more demanding in that regard, due to tougher zombie juking and the crimson heads. The difference between classic RE and RE4 is not nearly as big as people might imply.
RE9 is probably not something I'd give GOTY to except by default. It is two excellent halves of different yet complementary games stapled together, but it's not as rewarding to repeated play as some of the better games in the genre. It's not something I see myself picking up and running again, and the higher difficulty is a bit of a wash. The DLC is probably needed to round out the package.
I have zero doubt Mewgenics is of high quality but there's just no way I'm playing it. I'm just too opposed to the aesthetic.
The problem is we already live in an overtly ugly world, at least when it comes to society and that developer just makes games that are kind of ugly. I'm not saying that he should change his art or whatever, just sharing why people are turned off by it.
i fact i'd say it's pretty light hearted tho then again, i live in the country where death is always around the corner so maybe i have developed a higher tolerance i dont know
very millennial
Can the CunnyCrew make Pragmata GOTY?
i's be shittin... nigga ![]()
Initially yes. But it has been called "Dad Space" in reference to Dead Space and the fact that the robot girl is treated more like an adopted daughter in the game's story. It actually has some really cute moments. While I have no doubt there will be Pragmata rule34, the game itself is much more wholesome. Shinzo Abe would approve of it because it is some good marriage and baby making propaganda.
Gameplay. You gotta shoot certain limbs of the robots to actually disable them, if I remember the demo properly. It's not quite horror in tone but the enemies are like necromorphs in terms of combat.
It's not really horror, though some of the robots in the game are kind of creepy looking. It has more to do with the fact that you are wearing a heavy looking spacesuit and you are in space. It's also a third person shooter like Dead Space.
The controls being wonky is a function of the fixed camera angles. Those arent 100% necessary for it to be horror focused, but there are pros and cons to it
That would be correct, but it raises the question of what are you doing on Twitter?
Because I like being mad
I watched that RE fake fan drama unfold on Twitter a couple months back (very similar to this situation) but I don't know anything about Resident Evil. That said, I'd probably be pissed about the change too. I'd imagine the old games being survival horror jives better with the story and execution. I'm all about story in games and I think everyone who discounts it is a nigger. Miyamoto is the biggest nigger of them all. Koizumi was the one who made Zelda good. Not a nigger.
Ah that explains why Zelda games never feel fully fleshed out.
The new Resident Evil games are fun in their own right, but it's so far removed from what the franchise began as. The story is a schizophrenic mess on top of it.
I honestly miss the old really cheesy bad b-movie type dialogue though.
