22I personally know a couple people with either a downy kid or downy relative. They smile, but you see the hollowness in their eyes. They're dead inside changing adult diapers.
Anyone who doesn't think tards are a perpetual burden not worth carrying can be the ones taking care of them.
@Nils Never trust those tests though.. they lie
Like a cat and a laser.
Fuck why'd I say autism? That's not something you're born with... There was something else I was meaning to say and I forgot it...
I think probably I meant to say "downs syndrome and IVF" and it's the Christians who are doing peak autism...
Yeah, it's basically a life sentence for everyone involved, even for pets or animals around the house, but hey, at least it gets you some ''cute and ''wacky'' content for the socials that will be definitely liked and shared around by the most performative people you know ![]()
The stuff people do for social cummies
No, it's something like they plant 8 embryos hoping 1 will take and they kill embryos in the process and Christians have a freakout about it.
A real downer, any way you slice it...
I don't get bent out of shape over that sort of niche scenario.
The OT is pretty explicit that establishing and maintaining bloodlines is paramount. Anyone freaking out is simply refusing to think and read.
They chose the most viable embryo and let you choose the sex (weight of male embryo in VERY early stage is slightly lower from Y chromosome being smaller). The remaining embryos are often used for science experiments or other things. The moral question is whether or not killing or using the embryos for Science is immoral or unethical, and the debate over when human life actually begins. The selection aspect is one of the things that makes IVF so sketchy— how do we know that one of the other 8 eggs wouldn’t have taken and maybe it would have been perfectly healthy without genetic malformation. I don’t want to get lost in the details here, but I don’t like IVF.
They shouldn't be taking embryos for science experiments. Either make just enough to implant or have a surrogate on standby.
I suspect the extras are done intentionally and maliciously so that couples are helping procure and finance expensive research materials.
I know someone who's sister is schizophrenic (plus a bunch of other problems), and the doctors told her mom to abort the pregnancy, which she refused to do on religious grounds. Things were okay at first, but she quickly became a nightmare, and was even dangerous. Today she's in a group home drugged out of her mind (which doesn't sound like much of an existence), and my friend still has panic attacks caused by the stress 2 decades later. So obviously there will be positive cases, but these people are liars to act like the negative ones doesn't exist
How many of these detections are false positives?
The problem is this is a motte and bailey.
The motte is some couple that wants to get pregnant or some woman that got raped and now is carrying a halfbreed , or downs syndrome, or mother's health, etc.
The bailey is "we're killing babies for Baal yaaaay" - and IMO anyone who is involved in abortion and says something like that SHOULD just be taken at their word and charged with murder 1.
so I will avoid that for the rest of my life
