While I think you'd have to be a bit of a psycho to tell parents they should have killed their kid, I'm convinced that the people who try to berate others for choosing abortion in these situations simply have not been around very many people with genetic disabilities, and I don't just mean like for just a few minutes, or at work.

I know someone who's sister is schizophrenic (plus a bunch of other problems), and the doctors told her mom to abort the pregnancy, which she refused to do on religious grounds. Things were okay at first, but she quickly became a nightmare, and was even dangerous. Today she's in a group home drugged out of her mind (which doesn't sound like much of an existence), and my friend still has panic attacks caused by the stress 2 decades later. So obviously there will be positive cases, but these people are liars to act like the negative ones doesn't exist
