Back around March of '24, Turbo had decided we had to pay to upload images. This, of course, caused a massive outrage among all of us. At this point, Rob, who had been an admin of Gab, started schizo posting about how he had data crawlers going over everyone's accounts and there was no use is deleting and he was gonna do stuff to us. This was when the "freeloader" shit arose. I don't kindly to threats like this so I nuked my account.

I was personally mad about how he went about it. It's true that shit costs a lot of money at scale but his "no fuck you" rather than at least humoring the community by listening was where he went wrong. People seem to forget that nothing is free even if it's given to you for free, and Torba seemed to forget that his customers are what keep his business alive.
He is using bunny.net for S3 and CDN. Torba could have saved a fortune building his own. Wouldn't expect Colbert to be intelligent enough to come to that conclusion considering he was using digital ocean for HIS VOICE

I stuck with it all those years, all through Turbo giving donation money to Nick Fuentes or paying for his faggot brother's gay wedding, through Turgid handing our data over to the glowies like a drooling obedient puppy when Robert Bowers popped off, through the bans of people like Cosmonaut Katyusha for stupid shit (I forget what). I fought the MAGAtards, the occasional leftie that wandered into the pit, the "celebrities" that tried to build their clout (fuck you, Bill Mitchell!), all manner of retards and psychos, all the religious hellthreads started by antagonistic groups, and made a lot of friends that I still have today and ones I lost (I still miss you, Kuklinski).
