@smugumin I've very much always been a live and let-live guy in the vtubing world. Like... I watched Saruei when she was a fleshstreaming artist. There used to be this Japanese porn site 100 years ago that was basically Chaturbate png tubing with live girls and tokens and the whole nine. This was super long time ago. Stickam type days. Not to mention the old Ear Fetish Japanese CDs/DLSite packs that were ASMR before someone gave it a goofy name.

That is to say, I don't really get the prude side of things. Plenty of girls went from ASMR RP or outright porno content to vtubing. If some portion of the community doesn't match your mood, fine, but apply that logic to the girls who are upholding that portion of the industry. And as an oldfag who has been to many cons, Offkai, from the outside, looks a hell of a lot like old anime cons. Loose panels, people having fun. A proper niche. If people want buttoned down immersion horseshit, they should go watch Holo or someone trying to be an idol corp.

I'm there for the show. It's content. But that also explains why vtwitter has been awash in Offkai drama for a few days, everyone needs to get their clip or their RTs or whatever. Rev says desu probably masturbating nonstop over all this.
