@feld I also lament that youtube doesn't shield us from ugly people like hollywood used to, I am quite consistent on this. idealized characters are good actually

To me, she looks plausibly Scandinavian. Like related to Greta Thunberg from that angle, hilariously. She looks a bit different than the previous version of her character I admit (second pic), but not too much?

obv you can ignore aaa games too if you don't like it but basically these ideas are glommed onto big beloved titles. I feel like aaas are so big that they have to try to please everybody, so they end up frequently making a really safe and not that great thing.
