I am just trying to think through what solutions would be acceptable if we could expect good implementations of a law, and parental controls, and if we assumed good faith on people opposing and promoting these laws. none of which seems to be true

@sun the parental controls should be "dont give your 8 year old unlimited and unsupervised internet access" tbh

@sun if you care about what your kid is exposed to on the internet, yes. you can also educate them like some kids my age got with the "never tell anyone your real name, age, where you live, etc". if parents dont give a shit they shouldnt be forced to legally, and if they do give a shit they should give their kids toys instead of an ipad
