Reporter: You are talking about blowing up civilian power plants and bridges in Iran. Much of the civilized world would consider that a war crime. Do you?

Trump: I won't respond to that question. Who are you with?

Reporter: The New York Times.

Trump: I figured so. The failing New York Times.

@spacemanspiff @randbot this isn't some hack reporter asking about some domestic politics issue, he was asking about war crimes.

Donald Trump is literally so low IQ he couldn't answer that question without getting himself in trouble because even his tiny monkey brain knows on some level know that bombing school kids and nuclear power plants (which would create a chernoble like event if successful) is a war crime by every which way you slice it.

So he called them "failing New York Times."

Doesn't matter who the question came from, it's a proper question. If he, or one of his aides, could detail how a civilian power plant is considered a *legitimate military target* he could've effectively silenced all doubt. This must be the playing 6D chess which we've heard so much about.

I mean, I have, but not about the war in Iran. but that doesn't have anything to do with this.

if the President is taking questions, and someone with credibility asks that question, I look forward to the response.

as it stands, I support his dismissing anyone from the "paper of record" that told me john c dvorak died at 74, but "fact checks" what Trump had for breakfast 30 years ago.

Nah, it has plenty to do with this. You're no Kayleigh McEnany. Hell, you're no Jen Psaki either. Guarantee the Haitian lesbian wanted to kick Fox News out of the East Room.

It was a valid question. Either YOU tell us, in detail, why the civilian power plants in Iran are legitimate military targets, or you sit this one out. Mmkay?

file it next to the answer from Iran as to why an amazon data center in bahrain), “american hotels, banks, high-rise towers, properties owned by the Trump family” are legitimate military targets. surely the new york times asked them that. especially since they’re the good guys.

I’m sure the anti-american nobodies have an answer, though. like they have an answer for everything and literally everything they predict comes true. 🙄

@spacemanspiff @KingOfWhiteAmerica @randbot @Terry >>why an amazon data center in bahrain,

That I can answer, most of the communications in the ME including official government stuff, regional logistics and some military planning go through clusters of computers in local data centres, destroying those data centres causes logistic issues to the kingdoms of the ME, you can't say that the US can blow up a civilian bridge with the excuse that it can be crossed by the military and the Iranians can't blow a data centre because it might be used by civilians to download porn off the internet.

When the entire American imperial system is dead set on demonizing, bankrupting, destroying and eventually eliminating you and your people - it's not like you're gonna go looking over the Geneva Convention every time some part of that system takes damage.
