@shibao Tell him to grow up and stop using reddit/twitter. AI is a tool like any other, it's morally neutral and meant to be used.

@Mark I think he'll get there eventually, I think it's less about the morals for him and more than he just cares a lot about actually learning the fundamentals right now. But like with the zoomers being force fed so much slop they don't like, I think they aren't totally unjustified in how they're feeling even if they're wrong.
And as a libertarian, what they're feeling is a friction and pain that can be served by the market. Maybe that's completely AI free, artisan hand-crafted organic 100% free range coded software for hippies. Or maybe it's just like, software where UX is where all the humanity goes and software figures out the rest. I think there's lots of opportunity that I would like to tap into if I can

@shibao i don't believe that 'hand written rust' will be a job in the future. it barely is now.
@lain i agree, i just mentioned rust because he really likes their koolaid, I think he knows that he probably won't be using rust at his next job
