Anyways, turns out that if the supposed project to revive Xorg is led by someone who goes to Lunduke of all people to announce it and vibecodes in the convoluted Xorg codebase without testing. Things just kinda fall apart.

@phnt Lunduke aside, I tried the Artix liveiso on my PC that’s mostly using intel components before.

and it’s so buggy even on XFCE or KDE edition that it’s barely usable
