GNU/Gimp is such an amazing piece of software that when trying to navigate to my shitpost folder with 4K+ files, or typing a filename into the filename bar when in that folder, it has seconds of delay. Filename autocomplete is especially bad.

Death to GNU and Gtk.

@phnt I also have those issues with the Firefox filepicker when browsing my pictures folder with around 5k funnies (time flies). I never looked deeply into it but it's very annoying. Chromium doesn't seem to behaves like this
