There will always be some retard that reads only one post from the whole thread and replies with "you are the truest example of cattle I've seen so far, if you think like that k thanks bye." It's an internet culture issue that been a thing since it's adoption. You can ban these people from your instance, but that changes nothing as their account will pop up somewhere else even more destined to shit up threads.

@phnt @lina @mint as much as I'd like to I wouldn't call having to exist with people on earth an issue and this is just an extension of that. as far as I'm concerned we're living in a blessed time with the most graceful solution ever conceived: they're posting their inane ramblings on some shithole on the internet, possibly on their own dime because the platform is community driven, and you can mute them if you're a pussy. there's nothing to fix!
@menherahair @lina @mint It gets annoying when you are trying to have a discussion and some idiot completely derails it, which is also what happened in that thread. There's a solution to this, but it has so many repercussions that it isn't worth it (picrel)
