@ins0mniak @graf I did night shift hotel security/janitor for a while, had an alarm sound one night, only audible in the basement utility area. Wasn't trained on it but found the source and saw it was from the fire suppression system. Supervisor left me with a list of numbers.
Called, guy came out, diagnosed it, false alarm. He filled me in about the horrors of aged fire-suppression systems, I guess they're meant to be flushed regularly otherwise black sludge comes out when it finally goes off.

@ins0mniak @graf I once set up an rPi3 on a battery bank with a $5 webcam as a ghetto security camera, for a Fedex delivery I needed to receive. Can recommend.
There was no issue that time but I like to believe it's because I went the extra step to collapse the quantum eigenfunction or w/e.
