Also daily reminder that I miss the old FE this one is so much worse, lost one of the few useful functions (updating timelines on profile tabs) in exchange for a bunch of stuff that takes space and I haven't ever as much as thought "this would be nice to have" in 14 years on fedi.

I don't remember that ever working for me. And if you load a user profile once, leave it, user posts something, then the new post(s) aren't displayed/fetched when coming back to their profile.
