Nah, it was the episode where they called him a pussy for not wanting to get a vasectomy.

@sun @Jdogg247 Home Improvement specifically did a lot of that shit, they had a very special episode about the dangers of marijuana. ABC was part of the McCocaDisney complex and they'd get big-ass tax breaks if they let the government write an episode per season.

That shit goes all the way back to the 50s at least; Twilight Zone had a few episodes about how communism was terrible. The writing was worse than communism in those episodes.

@p Tim Allen said he didn't dare discuss politics until the show was entirely done. Made it clear he was told this by the higher ups.

@p Tim got the last laugh. They didn't hire him for Lightyear and it was a massive bomb, so they had to come crawling and beg him to do Toy Story 5, which he did and I'm sure he was well paid for it. Plus he is vindicated, it being a massive hit.

@p Canonically it was ridiculous to recast Buzz in the alleged 'original source' of the toy... because the toy includes VOICE SAMPLES from the movie it's based on! Therefore in-universe movie Buzz sounds exactly the same as toy Buzz.
