My brother got laid off today after 21 years with the same company. 4 months severance. Replaced by AI is what they told him. I feel bad for him but 21 years he was paid shit and shown no loyalty.

That’s why I built my own thing. Obviously I can bring my brother in if he wants to come on board. Totally different industry huge learning curve ,but he knows he’s got a place to land.

I really hope he finds something he wants to do and is compensated well.

His wife always thinks what I do is shady because they don’t understand it and why I (from their perspective) I never work.

I do work my main job now is managing relationship built over years and decades.

I do that on the golf course and other places…

I tried the Claude AI financial app a couple of months ago. I woke up one morning with my account $10k in the negative.

I panicked looked and the dumbass AI had transferred all of my money from my checking and savings and triggered my line of credit and invested it all in their proprietary money market making 4.0% interest.

I undid everything closed the account and ended up no worse since I paid back the line of credit within 25 Niue’s I didn’t get sh agree interest.

Ai might be the future but fuck that shit. It gave zero thought to the fact that I might you know need money to pay bills or eat. They said my cars would be mailed to me in 3-7 business days.

A total fiasco.

This was all my fault I just was looking at their portfolio software I didn’t pay enough attention to the prompts ,but still…
