Get an off brand wide ass memory foam gamer chair like mine. Your ass will never hurt but your back might feel funny cause you keep doing this
yeah I'm not even wide enough for a normal chair, I always blow out the inner edges of the arm rests on every chair because my arms dont naturally fall far enough to alwyas be in the middle. shit fucking sucks
I have to consciously stop myself from constantly moving towards this position. I like to twist sideways and hang my mousing arm over the back until I start to lose circulation.
the funny thing is I bought the meme game chair like 7 years ago or something, I had to rebuild the entire fucking thing 3 times with warranty parts because the armrests split because I'm not fat enough to sit in it and then the ass cushion gave out on it. I let my ex use it until she forced me to get rid of it despite her loving the fact we could recline together in it and watch shit (stupid bitch) I bought this staples executive chair it was like 200 after tax and its been perfectly fine for years but just the last couple months its gone to shit so I may get the same one just because I know it went 5 years some times 20+ hour days

Gaming chairs are awful. I sat in a $50 Staples office chair with zero cushion for years. It hurt to sit in that thing for more than a couple hours. Then I bought a nice mesh chair to fix my posture, but it didn't work because I sit in it every way and upside down.
5 years for 200$ with ~5-8 hours a day avg usage, it's served its purpose as far as I'm concerned. I will burn it on my old grill turned porch firepit and give it a proper sendoff
