@DrFell Iran is all they are concentrating on now and you'l hardly hear about anything else.
I think this whole Iran war is an own goal of epic proportions and the rest of the world, incuding the EU, are going to use this to neuter Trump. He should NEVER have listened to Netanyahu or the neocons.

It would not surprise me if the EU signs up with BRICS.
@DrFell @elston_ France already tried to weasel in as an observer for BRICS2025 and was rebuffed. More likely USA as a multipolar world realigns. Albeit informally, but it is orchestrating regional trade and is actively realigning its neighbours into a North American sphere.
Europe is being shepherded into the Russian sphere. UK is the outlier.
Europe will probably be more aligned with China than Russia, but the EU is a power bloc so they can (and will) play China and Russia against each other.
