I don't remember where I learned it, but the trick of using a rubber band to get a better grip for opening a jar has been really useful. Works better than the rubber pads that get sold for that purpose
Just a quick question, does anyone outside of legacy Usenet readers know what "(plonk)" means? I just saw it used here, but I am sure that person is an old Usenet hand.
"(PLONK)" and similar stylizations is meant as the "sound" someone makes falling into your personal filters (killfile, blocklist, what not)
