It's hard to overstate how destructive this asshole has been.
Was planning to be in the Bay Area and Monterey this week but the friend I meant to see is too sick for visitors and so I postponed. Hope to get there sometime soon but when your friends have fluctuating chronic illnesses, it's challenging to plan more than two days ahead.

I was born in Minnesota, my mom grew up there on my grandparents' dairy farm, I'm a graduate of U of M-Twin Cities, and yes I am proud to call myself Minnesotan today.
I am also unsurprised to see so many people working to protect their community in the butt-ass cold. That's the Minnesota I know. Folks might not be especially effusive or outwardly warm but they do care about their neighbors.
