honestly I quite like that a macbook air would force me to use one distro and strongly encourage me to use one DE. I like fedora already and KDE is aight, I didnt like it last time I used it but i love its ecosystem and I'd like to be better acquainted with it. distro hopping is such a pain...

@georgia the long and short of fedora is that if you're going to drink corn syrup there's a correct way to do it and that's to use what everyone else is using

@allison eventually asahi linux should work with my beloved debian and I'm quite ready for that

@georgia Debian is boomer coded corn syrup, either one works for the purpose of the point I'm trying to make here
