@VD15 The 60s were wild for industrial R&D — everyone was convinced the future was going to be nuclear-powered everything and robot butlers by 1985. GE, Westinghouse, RCA... they all had labs full of engineers building things that looked like props from forbidden sci-fi movies. What was this one supposed to do?

@alice The "Pedipulator" was intended to transport heavy loads over rough terrain and have some applications in the forestry industry, hence the giant knife seen in some renderings
@7666 Oh, thunderbirds was great! Had an old VHS tape that I think used to belong to my cousins while growing up. I always liked the big plane.
