Probably was something, but 30 years ago means the effect on decisions was a long time ago, so all that would remain now is far downstream effects of those decisions...

Most young people are somewhat rich in Norway and as for the party it was quite ordinary mainstream party. This was your average 75% of teenagers in Norway, economically and politically. Most Norwegians are very similar in wealth and political beliefs

I think he did quite a bit of research, like Uncle Ted, but also like Uncle Ted, the optics of the event were not in his favor. You could say it was counter-productive.
