More than a dozen airports across southern Russia suspended operations after Ukrainian drones struck the administrative building of the regional air navigation center in Rostov-on-Don overnight.
➡️ The attack damaged equipment at the control facility responsible for managing aviation across the region, forcing it to halt operations. No injuries were reported.
➡️ The disruption led to the cancellation or delay of around 80 flights and stranded at least 14,000 passengers. Airports in cities including Sochi, Krasnodar, Volgograd, Grozny, and Makhachkala were among those affected.
