Why are vaccines required for noncommunicable diseases, like tentanus?

8Tetanus immunoglobulin now exists, but it can't undo the damage that has already been done - tetanospasmin is a really nasty toxin.
> Car crashes cause death and injury. 30,000+ annually.
Thanks, asshat
> Trust me, bro. Tetanus is dangerous though I don't know anyone who ever caught it. It will injure you. We need the government to protect us from rusty nails.
Yes, due to the success of vaccination, you most likely don't know anyone who ever caught it.
Smallpox used to be very common, but now it's eradicated thanks to vaccination.
The governments job is to ensure diseases are eradicated by assisting with the development of the highest quality vaccines that aren't proprietary.
But, instead the government supports proprietary vaccines that do shit like cause polio.
Also, you're a faggot. But I've told you this before.
> Muh open source vaccines
Go back to sticking your dick in your microSD reader.
in principle, each individual vaccinated person reduces risk for all unvaccinated persons. given vaccines are mandatory in lots of places, a disease could be completely eradicated from even places that actively refuse vaccination. suiseiseki's point holds regardless of whether your whole neighborhood (or tristate area) did not mandate (or even outright banned) vaccines. The Scienceβ’ never emphasizes that, because it is counterproductive to their goal (which is not vaccination, but rent- and status-seeking, and whatever sadistic kick they get out of scaring urbanite parents into pumping their infant kids full of mercury adjuvants).
Maybe things would be better if governments instead forced them to produce decent vaccines that would eradicate diseases.
Claims about mercury in vaccines is low IQ fearmongering - yes thiomersal is used as an antifungal preservative in some vaccines - but it's 15% of daily mercury exposure dose (a dose set so low that it's known that nothing could possibly happen over a 100 year timespan) and that form of mercury is soon cleared from the body as well.
Fewer vaccines now use thiomersal and instead use alternatives, as the low IQ seem to fail to grasp the concept that the dose makes the poison and that harmful amounts of mercury in childhood results in cattle unsuitable for governmental use.
The vaccine schedule exists to keep the cattle free from the nastiest diseases, so more are available unspoiled for their later usage.
this is related to another point above. if i have 999 substances present in "absolutely insignifcant harmless trace p(you'll be fine)=0.999" quantity, the odds that i'll be fine are actually 0.999 ^ 999 or about 0.4

15Can you advise a current vaccine that uses a mercury based adjuvants?
According to the CDC, current vaccines used in the USA don't use mercury adjuvants; https://www.cdc.gov/vaccine-safety/about/adjuvants.html
The synergistic result of multiple substances are hard to predict, but thiomersal soon gets cleared from the body and thus cannot have any long-lasting build-up synergistic effect and there has always been some level of mercury in soil.
nevertheless, i am suspicious-by-default of taking vaccines concocted by people with the kind of incentives pharma has.
synergistic effects don't need a lo of time to take root. there are cascades that act as a positive feedback loop once kicked off. i find it difficult to believe zero such cascades are kicked off by any of the components of modern vaccines. at best, any that are are effectively no-ops.
There really aren't that many vaccines given to people, meaning the dose of the components is low and vaccines are rarely given after childhood - maybe once a year on average after childhood.
What is the difference between the components of old vaccines and modern vaccines?
Even if there are mythical "cascades kicked off", that's still better than having no immunity and then suffering from chickenpox, diphtheria, tetanus, diphtheria, hepatitis, influenza, measles, pneumococcal, polio and/or rotavirus - although with modern medicine, each disease is unlikely to kill you alone, the risk of each disease is cumulative - you can get several in a row and even at the same time - there was a reason childhood mortality and disfigurement used to be so high.
Chickenpox is quite a nasty disease - even if a childhood infection doesn't lead to severe scarring and is resolved, the varicella zoster virus goes and hides in nerve cells, waiting decades for the individual to become weak and most immunity to disappear and then strikes again (there are shingles vaccines, but those are only 50-90% effective).
Pharma isn't compelled to do anything, period. Why do you think drugs like Zantac & Vioxx were wildly popular, hugely prescribed, then - whoops - we're killing you guys π
By the 80's the rate of childhood deaths in the USA was already tiny, yet they massively increased the amount of vaccines. If you listened to the advocates, they'd credit the vaccines with lowering the death rates, when really it's quality of nutrition from refrigeration, increased hygiene from indoor plumbing and window screens, and lower stress on children from HVAC.
While I personally canβt practically verify any of those outside text on a screen, itβs plenty plausible; and anyone unwilling to consider the possibility strikes me as feigning certainty that I donβt believe is well founded.
when it comes down to it, i aint' really fully against vaccines in general, the ultra orthodox kikes don't liek vaccines either but you see from time to time measels outbreaks running through their communities.
I just don't trust the medical kikes. The same people who want us racemixed, castrated ("trans"), and chemically lobotomized from SSRIs are also telling us they want to vaccinate us for our own good. If we had a system run by people dedicated to our welfare I would believe them a lot more.
well i dont' disagree, that's why i didn't take the covid vax ever, that being said some vaccines were invetned in ages past because epidemics of disease killed a lot of people and they wanted to eradicate said disease.
Meh. Measles was trending down greatly in its mortality rate when they did ye old vax. Mumps kills under 1 in 10,000. Polio had even peaked & has weird controversy/overlap as to what even made it virulent in some (no one else in my stepdad's family of four kids caught polio from his brother... many such cases). They mostly just wanted to save shitskins π©
Vaccines were created because large employers couldn't have their wage slave die on them.
Vaccines were created because large employers couldn't have their wage slave all get the sniffles on the same week.
Dumb on purpose or sincerely?
You a science belieber or an antivaxxer?
I believe in Victorian era science, a bit of whiskey and water to fortify the body when you are feeling faint and the sea air to strengthen the resolve when you are depressed
