@WandererUber @DrRyanSkelton Never heard that one before, which is interesting given the Quake love.

@WandererUber @DrRyanSkelton Have you played Dusk? It has pretty good bunnyhopping.
@Goalkeeper @caekislove @Griffith @DarkGura @cjd Too late honestly, they put themselves in the hole already. If they cancel the free access, usage will plummet, and they already tried pushing large-scale adoption to make the paid-premium make a return.
That didn't work, so now they're out of options except to keep going until the music stops. The only thing that might save this from being worse is that even the normies know there is too much money and not enough payoff, so the investors too deep in will probably hold ranks while the rest pull out, and then try to slowly squeeze as much of their money back as they can. Of course, that assumes the music keeps playing--anyone with too much leverage and misses payments could go under and then the crash starts.

@Goalkeeper @caekislove @Griffith @DarkGura @cjd Kind of along the lines of OP, AI custom built according to industry need rather than One to Rule Them All.
The crash will be once they realize that monetizing AI off of free-access/paid-premium isn't going to work like it did for social media. Social media sold consumers for ads, a money printer since the newspaper. AI is selling a service and actually has to work and compete like one.

@WandererUber @phnt I've noticed that hit probabilities under 75 tend to miss, especially between 60-70, while 80+ is fairly certain.
There is gear to boost aim, but a lot of it is just learning situational awareness in XCOM. Enemies that pop out like the one you noted don't always trigger overwatch because even if they appear, the movement itself doesn't register unless they move far enough.
Granted, I only really play on normal difficulty, but it's not that hard.

@SuperSnekFriend Animekai went ded a while ago too. Not sure when, been off of watching anime for a while, but a lot of sites have been going down for one reason or another.

@professionalbigot69 @WandererUber @DrRyanSkelton Of note, the DLC putting multiplayer guns into ME3 does so unpatched, meaning everything will be at OG stats.
The N7 Typhoon is the reason for mentioning because it is one of the most brokenly powerful guns in all of ME3, it would be insane with a mod boosting the guns (good).

@GolfCartLady @matty @Hyperhidrosis The acceptable difference.
@WandererUber @DrRyanSkelton No *romanceable* mommies.
@PurpCat @WandererUber @nierenstein For complete details, according to what I heard, they were planning on an environmentalist message: Element Zero and mass effect technology produces dark matter, which is accumulating in stars, leading to increased mass and thus accelerated life cycle (hinted at in Tali recruitment and loyalty missions). The Reapers convert entire species into singular, giant machines as a means of preservation ("Each of us a nation.")
Then the ending in ME3 was allegedly leaked, so it was changed, but either the leak had no legs or the writers indeed left and they made it a Terminator plot. Either way, the environmental message about Eezo and the cycles being timed to prevent any permanent damage while preserving various species is actually pretty good. Logical, and most importantly understandable, if a bit generic. Solves the actual Terminator/Skynet problem by drawing a direct line to sentient self-destruction and the need to do something.

@WandererUber @kaia @lain >or never finish the game.
This is actually kind of the problem with F:NV, you don't WANT to actually finish until there is no more content left, aside from ignored companions. There's mods for continued play, but even still, eventually all you have left is hunting Deathclaw spawns or wandering until a Legion/NCR hit squad finds you.
An "Objective: Survive" type quest if you closed off all options would be neat, name it "Public Enemy" and you just solo everyone and everything, as you've been doing. That wouldn't solve the combinatorics but would at least 'complete' the sandbox by having a resolution for engaging in turbo-murder-hobo-mode.

@branman65 @Chzikken_1486 Where I'm at they predict a foot of snow, but so far there is only a few inches. Ground seems to still be relatively warm too, footprints from other people are semi-solid slush, which is good news for pipes.
Still got a few more days of this, but I'm starting to hedge on nothing happens.

Midwest Khaganate gang rise up!
Until the Catholic church starts denying communion to pro-abortion politicians I will consider their talk to be just talk.
@Chzikken_1486 Midwest will be fine, it's the South that may have to worry a little.
Mostly supposed to be snow for now, but tomorrow there may be wintry mix, and the single-digit lows will be tough.
As a native Midwesterner, I would be excited for big snow, but I live far enough south now that I have to hope for the best regarding the pipes and power here, which is not as robust for these conditions compared to home.
Vid-rel is God's strongest snowplow driver in Oklahoma tomorrow (he's the only one in the state).
