This week, NVIDIA reduced their investment plans in OpenAI from $100 billion to $30 billion (and they aren't positive they'll do the $30). Amazon told OpenAI they were only giving them $15 billion instead of $50 billion (the remaining $35b only if they go public or create AGI).

@joba @WandererUber The gov contract isn't big yet but it's obviously about the potential for future contracts. Altman needs the hype, I'm sure he dove on this without a second thought.
