The COVID-19 Pandemic (aka the “scamdemic” among other clever nicknames) was an international / global State-sponsored religious movement - patterned after basically any/every religious movement that came before or since. It had it’s Dogmas, its Rituals, its Observances, its Initiation, its Priesthood, its Prophets, its Devil, etc etc. Even just a little bit of imagination suffices to figure out which is what.

@Bunsen @bloggerski Now of course I don’t know for sure, and I don’t think anybody does. I can lean into Four Horsemen symbolism and interpret the scamdemic as “Autumn” (which is often rendered “Pestilence”) and go from there. But again I don’t know if this was that.

It truly seemed so fleshed-out as a complete and comprehensive global-scope religious movement, and I’d never seen anything like it before or since.

It was a compliance test. They all could have been saline for all we know.

@mjdigspigs @KingOfWhiteAmerica @Bunsen @The_Killah29 @bloggerski My personal opinion is that 1) yes it was a compliance test and white people failed to pass the shit test with almost audacious levels of failure and 2) as far as what they actually did for the vast majority of people, they might as well have been saline.

@Robert_Edwardly @mjdigspigs @Bunsen @The_Killah29 @bloggerski While the White Compliance numbers were still too high in the US for my comfort, I have reason to believe some statistical fuckery was leaned into, in order to foster the illusion of greater “normality” of compliance. But my personal sample I know might be a bit skewed because guys and gals younger than me in my hometown and county overall had much lower compliance than national average.

Today, I learned that an elderly White couple who lived in the bend on our road (we're right on the edge of Really Rural Here™) retired to Mississippi. Well, their grandkid and his wife bought the house and property. They're in their late 20s. They already have four beautiful White babies, and plan on having more. That's a 200% increase in our White population for our little neck of the woods, with more on the way. I'm pretty happy about that.
