Elon will offer to send a mission up to retrieve the bodies, but bureaucrats will hem and haw for months while Boeing puts in a ridiculous bid to do the same job for quadruple the cost ... ten years from now. Boeing's offer will eventually be accepted after certain Senators get massive surprise campaign donations. Blue Origin will sue both Boeing and SpaceX in an effort to steal away the contract. What remains of the astronaut's bodies will eventually degrade in their orbits and crash into the Moon.
