I like how China seems to have two factories that make the same thing, but one is very good, and the other is very bad. Both are sold at the same price.
The thing on the Japanese feels very true. For example, a telescope so small that it's totally useless, yet it's been lavished with an obscene amount of care and attention.

The same factory is making all of them. The bad are (probably) the rejects. Other Chinese companies buy up the rejects and sell them under their own random brand.
