@weaf it's actually a pretty beautiful way to go about it without much downside possibility. Unlike destruction of evidence, you wouldn't have to bring much of anything with you into evidence, and it would be very had to point who did it.

It would require having access to the FBI's evidence locker, planting it, hoping nobody notices it was tampered with, then hoping the prosecutors make it central to their case after it was tampered with, just so you could file an FOIA to get the forensic report the FBI is suppressing.

You just can't fuck up a major prosecution like this. Genuine civilizational decline moment. Also, they didn't hang anybody and moved Maxwell to a minimum sec prison camp. And even that slap on the wrist is jeopardized by this appeal if the claims are legitimate.
