4@vaartis Maybe, but it wasn't the original intention. They just wrote several different songs and then linked them together. I assume they did so to make fun of progressive rock bands.
That said, isn't the lore of the album that the lyrics were one huge poem written by a kid?
@josemanuel that's the lore, yeah. Also I always assumed what you said was about aqualung and thick as a brick was "okay, i guess we'll do a concept album then"
@vaartis That's right, but Ian Anderson was being sarcastic, I guess? Thick as a Brick was meant as a parody of concept albums, I think.
