1having had a gold digger and other women who see men as an ATM, I'll pass. I commend her for not being materialistic, but that last comment turned me off. but hey, if you want to be reduced to a cash cow, by all means, learn the hard way.

6doesn't matter. women are taught they can ditch their husband whenever they want and force him to pick up the tab. that kind of woman isn't worth the time of day. but hey, you wanna play the white knight and learn the hard way, go for it man. you'll learn.
It's almost as if when you love and appreciate a woman you are willing to do nice things to keep her happy. What more incentive does someone other than a happy stay at home wife who takes care of all your children? You are just bitter.
> You are just bitter.
just speaking from experience as someone who did pay for everything and had a stay at home wife/mom. I'm hardly the only man/father with this experience.
> I am also a woman.
thanks for clarifying. now I understand why you don't/won't get it and just want to project a bunch of nonsense in response. if a woman wants to be treated with generosity, then it's up to her to earn it. it's not something you just deserve for nothing. it's a two way street. and frankly with that attitude, you wouldn't deserve it
You're not angry that a woman's husband thinks she deserves the world, and wants to give her what he sees as rightfully theirs as a family unit, because he recognizes her worth and the labor of child rearing.
Your issue is that this woman recognizes that she does deserve these things. You are the one who said her last comment rubbed you the wrong way.
It's almost as if you are the problem. Go back and look at your divorce filings and convince yourself that you are totally blameless in what happened there. And seek therapy while you're at it.
If you have kids and continue on with this attitude, don't be surprised when your children grow up to spite you. Ask me how I know ![]()
