What do you suppose he should be doing about it? If the AG is criminally liable, a prosecutor must act, not a congressman
@WandererUber @BroDrillard @sickburnbro where would that prosecutor come from? The AG is the head prosecutor. He would even be the one to appoint a special prosecutor.
I, a fool, have assumed that there was some sort of protocol in place for such an instance. Perhaps congress must relieve him of duty and THEN order the new AG/ a prosecutor to act? I guess that's what sbb is skeptical about?
@WandererUber @BroDrillard @sickburnbro yeah, I think Congress can impeach and remove the AG (Same process as impeaching a president). Then the new AG can appoint a special prosecutor (or prosecute directly I suppose, but an independent prosecutor would probably be a better look)
